Our Program
Welcome to Bay Head Day Camp! We serve families with children ages 2-5. Whether you’re a local family living year-round in Bay Head or the neighboring towns, or you’re just visiting for a few weeks of summer bliss, you’ve come to the right place.
Our camp offers a nurturing environment where young children can explore, play, and grow. We focus on developing social, emotional, and cognitive skills through age-appropriate activities. Our days include creative arts, STEM projects, and community-building classroom activitites, literacy/storytelling, music, nature exploration, outdoor play, and community engagement.
Our experienced and caring staff is here to make sure each child receives individual attention, promoting confidence, creativity, and lasting friendships. At Bay Head Day Camp, we create a joyful, supportive community that fosters curiosity, fun and excitement in the summer months.
How We Spend Our Days
Weekly Themes
Fun weekly themes like “Under the Sea” will guide camp activites, from building underwater habitats to learning about sea creatures and counting the legs of an octopus.
Creative Arts
We’ll spend time using all art mediums. Campers will have the chance to draw, paint, sculpt, collage and mold. Art will be individual and collaborative.
Nature & Outdoors
Just a footbridge from Centennial Park, campers will spend a lot of their days playing outside on the climbing structure, enjoying field games, and exploring the nature of the Scow Ditch. We’ll also bring nature indoors for sensory exploration.
Classroom Activities
In our bright classroom spaces, we will weave academic elements like STEM and literacy into our daily play, sneaking learning into our summer of fun!
